INTRO

At Tea-Lightful Parties, we specialize in creating charming, beautifully styled tea party experiences for children across Houston and surrounding areas.

By submitting your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies outlined below. These guidelines allow us to provide a seamless, organized, and magical experience for every celebration.

Your booking serves as formal acceptance of these terms, and services will not be confirmed without agreement.

🎀 EVENT BOOKING POLICIES

Availability

We recommend confirming availability prior to reserving online. Once confirmed, your event date will be held for 24 hours to allow time for completing your reservation and submitting your retainer. The button to reserve online is at the bottom of this page.

Our Signature Tea Party Experience

Our process is thoughtfully designed to be effortless and delightful.

Once your booking is confirmed, we will request an inspiration photo (invitation, dress, or theme reference). From there, we:

  • Curate a soft, cohesive color palette

  • Style your tea party using our signature décor pieces

  • Create a charming, picture-perfect setup

We kindly ask that you trust our creative process so you can relax and enjoy your celebration.

Home Tea Parties

  • Setup is included with all packages

  • Pickup typically occurs same day or next day (depending on availability)

Client Responsibilities:

  • All linens, teaware, and décor must be packed into the provided tote

  • Balloons must be popped/removed from backdrop

  • Tables and chairs must be moved to the garage or designated pickup area

Venue Tea Parties

  • Setup is included

  • All items are picked up same day

Client Responsibilities:

  • All linens, teaware, and décor must be packed immediately following the event

Craft Station Add-On

  • Craft experiences (such as perfume or lip gloss making) are hosted during your event

  • Setup and cleanup are included

  • Workspace must be cleared following the activity

Upstairs Installations

For safety and efficiency, all setups must be completed on the first floor only.

💳 PAYMENT POLICIES

Retainer (Deposit)

A non-refundable, non-transferable retainer of $100–$175 is required to secure your event date.

Final Payment

  • Final invoices are sent the Sunday prior to your event

  • Payment is due within 24 hours

Failure to submit payment may result in cancellation of your event. Retainers remain non-refundable.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit/Debit Card (via Square)

  • Zelle (preferred for final balances)

Credit Card Protection Policy

To ensure a safe and secure transaction:

  • Card must match the name on the reservation

  • Valid ID and card verification required

  • Signed Credit Card Authorization Form required

  • Completion of Services Acknowledgment required at setup

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

One-time rescheduling may be offered if:

  • A minimum of 14 days’ notice is provided

  • The new date is available

📋 EVENT PREPARATION

Final Guest Count

Final guest counts are due the Sunday prior to your event to ensure proper preparation.

Pets

All pets must be secured and removed from the setup area prior to our arrival.

🚚 DELIVERY FEES

Delivery is calculated from ZIP code 77373:

  • 0–25 miles: $75

  • 26–50 miles: $85

  • 51+ miles: Custom quote required

Distances are calculated using Apple Maps, averaging multiple routes when applicable.

TEAWARE & EVENT CARE DISCLAIMER

Tea-Lightful Parties provides delicate teaware and styled décor pieces for your event.

Clients are responsible for:

  • Ensuring all items are handled with care

  • Returning all teaware and décor in good condition

  • Packing items properly after the event

Additional fees may apply for excessive damage or missing items.
